Draft — pending legal review

Please read this before you agree to your child joining GNG. It is written for parents and guardians, not for lawyers.

Who we are

GNG (Golfers Next Generation) is a golf practice app made by Magnus Golf Coaching LLC, a company registered in Wyoming, United States. Coaches use it to set practice for their players and to review swing video.

Why you are reading this

Your child's golf coach has asked to add them to GNG. Because your child is under 16, we need your agreement first. Your child's account is not created until you give it.

[Legal review: confirm the age threshold and what counts as verifiable parental consent in each country we operate in. GNG uses 16 everywhere as the cautious default.]

What will be held about your child

  • Their name and email address.
  • Their handicap index, and coaching notes their coach writes.
  • Every practice attempt they log — what they completed or skipped, scores, how long it took, and any notes they write.
  • Swing video of your child, uploaded by the coach or by your child.
  • Analyses their coach records over that video — these include drawings and the coach's voice talking about your child's swing.

Who can see it

Only your child's coach, and your child. No other coach and no other player can see any of it. Nothing is public, nothing is shared, and nothing is sold. GNG staff can look at the data only when it is needed to fix a problem or keep the service safe. We do not send marketing email to your child.

Where it is kept

Data is stored with our service providers: Lovable Cloud (Supabase) for the database and accounts, Bunny Stream for video, Lovable for the emails the app sends, and Zoho Mail for our mailboxes. They are in the United States and the European Union and only act on our instructions.

How long it is kept

While your child is being coached through GNG. Practice results are kept as the coach's record of the coaching relationship while it is active. If you withdraw consent, or the account is closed, we delete or anonymise your child's personal data — including their video — within 30 days.

Your rights

  • Ask to see a copy of everything held about your child.
  • Ask us to correct anything that is wrong.
  • Ask us to delete it, including any video.
  • Withdraw your consent at any time. This closes your child's access to GNG — they will no longer be able to sign in — and their data is deleted.

There is no button for this in the app. Email privacy@gng.golf, or tell the coach and they will pass it on, and we will action it.

If you have a concern

Contact us first at privacy@gng.golf. You can also complain to the data protection authority in your country.

What you are agreeing to

That your child's coach may add them to GNG; that GNG may hold the data listed above, including video of your child and recorded coach analyses of it; and that the coach may see your child's practice and video. Nothing else.
